Terms and Conditions

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all quotations, orders, and aluminium and glass fabrication and installation services provided by A R Aluminium & Glass (License No. CN-5806439), Musaffah – M25, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, “our”), to any client (“you”, “your”). By requesting a quotation, placing an order, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Quotations and Pricing

Quotations are provided based on the information, measurements, and site conditions available to us at the time, including photos or descriptions you provide. Final pricing may be adjusted following an on-site survey if actual measurements, access conditions, or material requirements differ from what was initially assessed. Quotations remain valid for the period stated on the quotation document, or 30 days if no period is stated. All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT), which is applied at the standard UAE rate of 5%.

3. Orders and Payment

An order is confirmed once you accept a quotation and, where applicable, pay the agreed deposit. Payment terms (including deposit percentage, progress payments, and final balance) will be set out in your specific quotation or order confirmation. Fabrication of custom aluminium and glass items will not begin until the agreed deposit has been received.

4. Installation and Site Access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the installation site, including parking or loading access where required for delivery of aluminium frames and glass panels. Installation timelines are estimates and may be affected by site readiness, weather, or third-party trades. We will communicate any expected delays as early as possible. Where a project requires compliance with Abu Dhabi building regulations, including standards set under the Department of Municipalities and Transport’s Estidama Pearl Rating System, obtaining any necessary permits or approvals from the relevant developer, community, or authority remains your responsibility unless we have separately agreed in writing to handle this on your behalf.

5. Warranty

In line with Federal Decree-Law No. 5 of 2023 amending Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, we provide a minimum warranty period of two years on goods supplied, and we pass through applicable manufacturer warranties on materials such as aluminium profiles, glass, and hardware. The warranty period begins on the date you receive the completed installation, or a replacement if the original was defective. If a defect appears within the first six months, it is presumed to have existed at the time of installation unless we can show otherwise. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, normal wear and tear, or events outside our control. Specific warranty terms for your project will be confirmed in writing at handover. (See the notice above — these statute-specific details are pending legal verification.)

6. Cancellations and Changes

Because most of our aluminium and glass work is custom-fabricated to your specific measurements, orders cancelled after fabrication has started may be subject to a cancellation charge covering materials and labour already committed. Changes to an order after confirmation (such as size, finish, or glass specification) may affect price and timeline and will be confirmed with you before proceeding.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under UAE law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or protection you have under mandatory UAE consumer protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 5 of 2023, that cannot be excluded by agreement.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties, and if unresolved, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Abu Dhabi.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply to that order.
