Ali Raza owns and runs A R Aluminium & Glass from the Musaffah M-25 workshop, under trade licence CN-5806439.
He handles client consultation and material selection himself, and signs off the quotation before anything is cut. The workshop covers aluminium windows, doors and partition framing, glass partitions, shower enclosures and railings, and curtain wall and ACP cladding — all fabricated in-house rather than bought in and resold.

We design, cut, weld, glaze, and install aluminium windows, aluminium doors, glass partitions, shower glass, curtain walls, and ACP cladding — for villas, business fit-outs, and managed properties across the emirate.
We are not a showroom that takes your order and sends it to someone else’s factory. The person who quotes your job, the workshop that fabricates it, and the crew that installs it are all the same company. That matters more than it sounds — when something needs adjusting after handover, you are not stuck between three different businesses pointing at each other.
Where We Work From: Musaffah M25
Our workshop sits in Musaffah – M25, inside Musaffah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi’s main hub for metal fabrication, glazing, and heavy trade workshops, laid out as a grid of numbered sectors running roughly M-1 through M-46. If you have ever sourced aluminium profiles, glass, or hardware in Abu Dhabi, there is a good chance you have already driven through M25 without realizing it.
We should be upfront about one thing: the UAE does not use postal/zip codes the way the US or UK does. Working from a Musaffah workshop rather than a retail showroom on a commercial strip is also why our pricing tends to come in lower than showroom quotes for the same specification — you are paying for aluminium, glass, labour, and workshop overhead, not shopfront rent.
The Real Problems Abu Dhabi’s Climate Creates for Aluminium and Glass
Why do so many villas and offices in Abu Dhabi end up replacing windows, doors, or glass partitions within five to seven years of the original installation? In almost every case we get called out to, it comes down to the same handful of climate-driven failures — not bad luck, and not always bad design, but the wrong specification for this environment.
Heat-warped frames
unshaded aluminium surfaces routinely exceed the ambient 45°C+ summer temperature, and standard (non-thermally-broken) profiles expand, bind, and stop sliding smoothly within a few summers.
Sand and dust infiltration
fine Gulf sand works into door and window tracks that were not sealed correctly at installation, wearing rollers and gaskets faster than the same hardware would wear in a milder climate.
Condensation and mould around frames
single glazing or poorly sealed double glazing lets warm, humid outside air meet cool indoor air on the glass surface, leading to condensation, staining, and mould at the frame edges — a common complaint in villas near the coast.
Rising cooling costs
clear single glazing or non-Low-E glass lets solar heat straight through, pushing air-conditioning load (and DEWA bills) higher than a correctly specified Low-E double-glazed unit would.
Corrosion and pitting on lower-grade aluminium
humidity and salt-laden coastal air accelerate corrosion on frames that were not properly powder-coated or anodised for this environment.
None of this is unusual — it is simply what this climate does to a frame or a glass unit that was specified for somewhere else. The fix is not more maintenance, it is the right specification from the start.
How We Build Differently for This Climate
Thermally broken aluminium profiles and Low-E double glazing are our default on villa and commercial jobs, not an optional upgrade.
A thermal break is a continuous polyamide insulating bar built into the frame that separates the hot outer face from the cool inner face, so the frame stops conducting outside heat straight into the room.
Low-E glass carries a microscopic coating that reflects infrared heat while still letting daylight through, which is the single biggest factor in keeping a room bright without the heat gain of plain clear glass.
Abu Dhabi’s Estidama Pearl Rating System, administered by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), sets minimum building-envelope performance targets for exactly this reason — including glazing U-values around 1.8 W/m²K for the glass panel and roughly 2.2 W/m²K for the full window assembly on compliant projects. We size and specify glazing around the sun exposure and wind direction of your specific building rather than fitting one spec everywhere.

Licensing and Warranty

As a matter of our own policy, we back every installation with a minimum two-year warranty, in line with the general warranty protections set out under UAE consumer protection law. If a frame or glass unit we installed fails to seal, slide, or sit right within that period, we come back and fix it.

We fabricate in-house at our Musaffah workshop and install with our own crew. The same company that cuts and welds your frames is the one that fits them on site.

04Why does thermally broken aluminium matter in Abu Dhabi specifically?
Standard aluminium conducts heat directly from the hot outer face to the inner face, which in Abu Dhabi’s summer heat causes frames to warp, bind, and sweat with condensation. A thermal break — a polyamide insulating bar inside the profile — stops that heat transfer, which is why we use it as standard rather than an upgrade.
05What is Low-E glass and do I actually need it?
Low-E (low-emissivity) glass has a microscopic coating that reflects infrared heat while still letting daylight through. In Abu Dhabi, it is the single most effective glass upgrade for keeping a room cool without shutting out natural light, and it directly reduces air-conditioning load.
06How long does a typical villa window or door replacement take?
