What Does Aluminium Works Include?
“Aluminium works” is the frame side of a glazing job — the part that carries load, seals against dust and holds the glass. Windows, doors, partitions, kitchen carcasses, railings, curtain walling and shade structures all sit here. The glass side is a separate discipline, and we do both, which is the whole reason a job does not need two contractors negotiating over the same opening.

View→Why Thermally Broken Aluminium Matters Here
Why do so many older aluminium windows and doors in Abu Dhabi villas start binding, sweating or sticking within a few years? Almost always because the original frame was never thermally broken.
Plain aluminium conducts heat straight from the sun-facing outer surface to the inner face. In an Abu Dhabi summer that makes the frame itself expand, bind in its track, and sweat with condensation on the inside. A thermally broken profile splits the frame in two, outer and inner, joined by a continuous polyamide bar — so the heat has no metal path across.
It also has a compliance side. Abu Dhabi’s Estidama Pearl Rating System wants window frames thermally broken and/or below 3.5 W/m²K, and projects chasing a higher Pearl rating work to tighter figures again. Full detail on the aluminium windows page.
If a quote does not say whether the profile is thermally broken, assume it is not. That single line is usually the whole price gap between two windows that look identical.

Profiles are cut, punched, assembled and glazed in our Musaffah M-25 workshop under trade licence CN-5806439. A non-standard size or a matched detail is a workshop instruction, not a supplier lead time.
Our own team installs
The people who made it fit it. On doors and large openings that matters more than anything else, because how squarely the frame sits in the opening decides whether it seals in five years.
Powder coating to your colour
Effectively any RAL colour plus wood-effect and anodised finishes. We can match existing frames on a villa rather than getting close.
We will talk you out of it
If uPVC is the better buy for your room, we will say so. It insulates better as a material and costs less — aluminium earns its money on wide spans, heavy sashes and slim sightlines.

We fabricate. Cutting, assembly and finishing all happen in our own workshop in Musaffah M-25 under trade licence CN-5806439, and our own team installs. That is why we can hold a non-standard size or match an existing profile instead of sending it back to a supplier and waiting.
02What is thermally broken aluminium?
A frame split into an outer and an inner half, joined by a continuous polyamide insulating bar so heat cannot conduct straight through the metal. It is what stops the frame binding, sweating and pushing heat into an air-conditioned room.
03Sliding or casement windows?
Casement seals better because it compresses onto a gasket when it closes. Sliding wins on space and suits wide openings and balconies. If dust or road noise is the problem you are trying to solve, casement or tilt-and-turn is the better answer.
04Can you match the colour of my existing frames?
Usually. Powder coating comes in effectively any RAL colour plus wood-effect finishes. Send a photo and a close-up of the frame section and we will tell you honestly what will match exactly and what will only be close.
05Do you do commercial work as well as villas?
Yes — offices, showrooms, clinics and retail. Curtain walling, shopfronts and office partitions are a large part of what we do.
06How fast can you quote?
Send the sizes and a photo on WhatsApp and we will usually come back the same day. Where a site visit is needed, we aim to be there within 48 hours and give you an itemised quotation within 24 hours of visiting.
